Francis and his wife Edith, who is also his best friend, became members of Victoria Alliance Church in 2024 after transferring their membership from Heritage Alliance Church in Abbotsford, their first church since arriving in Canada in 2022. At Heritage, they served as Ushers and in Children's Ministry before relocating to Victoria. They are loving parents to one daughter.
Francis has been actively involved in ministry work, serving in various roles such as Children's Ministry, Ushering/Welcome Team, Sunday School/Bible Study, and co-chairing Marriage/Couples' ministry alongside his wife.
In 2001, their pastor recognized and affirmed his calling to ministry, encouraging him to pursue a pastoral role in one of the five ministries mentioned in the Bible (Ephesians 4:11-12).
He has felt a deep calling to fulfill the Great Commission, as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20, and is particularly spiritually aware and prayerful about the under-resourced, the unhoused, those bound by various forms of hardships, the downtrodden, and older adults in our midst.
As expressed in James 2:14-26, Francis believes that God’s children exist in all walks of life, including those who may not yet know the depth of God's love through Jesus Christ. Though these situations are often complex and challenging, he holds firmly to the belief that with God, all things are possible when we truly humble ourselves before the Lord (Isaiah 58:6-12).
In addition to God's Kingdom work, he has a long-standing involvement in the automotive industry. He enjoys motorsports and, when possible, working on cars.
